TOKYO (March 20) – Tomiaki Fukuda was returned to a sixth two-year term as president of the Japan Wrestling Federation at a meeting of the JWF executive board and JWF council.
Fukuda, who is also a vice president in wrestling's international governing body FILA, was first elected to the JWF's top post in April 2003.
At the same meeting, Yuji Takada was re-elected as the JWF's chief executive officer. Kenjiro Matsunami, Shojiro Shimoda and Hiroshi Hase were elected vice presidents while Hideaki Tomiyama, Masakazu Hijikata and Kazuhito Sakae were named executive directors.
